“Just as a small fire is extinguished by the storm whereas a large fire is enhanced by it – likewise a weak faith is weakened by predicament and catastrophes whereas a strong faith is strengthened by them.”
Viktor E. Frankl
1905-1997, Holocaust Survivor and Author of Man’s Search for Meaning
Perhaps many of us are going through a lot of transformation lately. I know that I am. Ever hear the expression that “change is in the air”- well perhaps many of us are experiencing a little too much of this and are resisting. I know that I am 🙂 Our lives present us with these changes and if we want to keep moving forward, we may benefit from relying on our faith that this too shall pass and everything will work out for the best. If you are having many opportunities or predicaments lately, then it is nice to know that if you trust and have faith, whatever happens, you will be ok. If someone can make it through something so utterly horrendous like the Holocaust by relying on his strong faith like Viktor Frankl, then no predicament is insurmountable under any circumstance. And certainly the love of support of good friends and family always helps make any change easier. So let your fears know that you will not only survive but will survive- embrace your faith and you can face anything!
