“I believe life is a series of near misses. A lot of what we ascribe to luck is not luck at all. It’s seizing the day and accepting responsibility for your future. It’s seeing what other people don’t see And pursuing that vision.”
Seize the day no matter what life presents to you! No hardship in the world can take that choice away from you. Persevering and moving forward through the challenges is what defines a strong character. As I see it, we all have to claim responsibility for our lives and how we live it at some point or what vision do we really have for a prosperous future. Setting egos aside and making a concerted effort to truly live a life of service to others rather than avarice or greed, that is a goal of a true leader. So the question posed today is “as long as we are here, we might as well . . . .” fill in the blanks. We need to have integrity as we pursue the vision for our magnificent futures. When life gives lemon, make the best damn lemonade you can. I know how I am going to answer that question. As long as I am here, I WILL bring good to this world. I WILL be of service to my fellow creatures that is in alignment with my gifts. I WILL bring joy, laughter and kindness to any situation. I WILL turn everyday into an opportunity to grow and learn and discover. And, I WILL give love wherever I can. Guided by our North Stars, moving in the direction that we are called, as long as we are alive today, you just might as well dream, sing, dance, play, be authentic- and Smile! No one can take that away from you!
