You are also the director. Remember, you do get to decide your motivation as your script unfolds. The good news is that despite what goes on around you, you get to choose how you react to whatever life throws your way. Empowered by this realization, every day you decide what kind of role you want to play. Will you be the victim or the victor? If it is the victor you seek, then decide today to appreciate each “character” that crosses your path to ensure allies. Decide today to experience each act as it materializes and allow it to work in your favor. Decide today to find goodness in each moment and truly embrace the magnitude of every opportunity. As the lead actor in your story, decide today what actions and attitudes you will bring to life. To feel connected, make a conscious decision that you adopt an attitude of service. To feel loved, make a conscious decision to adopt an attitude of compassion. To feel blessed, make a conscious decision to take an attitude of gratitude for the gifts as they appear. Remember there are no coincidences in your play. Everything that happens has a reason. As the lead actor, you get to decide to bring the energy of an optimist or bring the energy of a pessimist. Remember, you get to choose whether you are a victim or a victor to your circumstances. When you take on attitude of gratitude for it all, you will be a victor as you stand in appreciation for the challenges as they unfold. Remember this is your once around. No matter what happens, choose well the approach you take. And be sure that if your approach is positive in nature, any ending to each scene will be triumphant for the lessons learned along the way.
