“Fear is the main source of superstition, and one of the main sources of cruelty. To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.”
Bertrand Russell
As you wake each and every day ready to face the world, you make choices at that very moment when your feet hit the floor- you get to choose to be empowered by life or to be overwhelmed by your fear of the unknown. You get to decide what you believe and what you don’t believe. You get to decide what you store away and what you reject. When you make the decision to face your fears, you see that what you fear is not real. When you lift the veil of what scares you, you begin to experience letting go of what has been your greatest burden as you start to receive the blessings of the beauty that awaits. When you make the choice to face your fears and call out for help in doing so, many will come to your aid. You don’t have to conquer fear on your own, but you do have to make the choice to conquer fear. And, when you make that choice, as Eleanor Roosevelt has said, “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.” It is really that simple. So as you move forward, make the decision to stop the cruelty and face your fears little by little and see how far your confidence in the universe will take you. How wise!
