Not life, but good life, is to be chiefly valued.
~Socrates, Classical Greek philosopher
When we are grateful for what we have and the abundance that is already in our lives, the universe responds in kind with more abundance. When we face the world noticing what we lack, the universe responds in kind with more lack. It is so simple. We must stop wanting what others have and start appreciating what is already present. Let’s face it; we all experience so much that we can be thankful for. If we choose an attitude of gratitude every time for the good life, we will not be disappointed. We have another day of life, and we have our health; life is good. We have family and friends who love us; life is good. We have the freedom to explore what our hearts desire; life is good. We have roofs over our heads and clothes on our backs; life is good. And we have the ability to say thank-you for all of our blessings; life is good. With this acknowledgment, let us offer a grateful heart to the universe. Let us lift up our glasses filled to the brim with our appreciation and make a toast to a good life!
Magical Key to Bliss: Toast when you can, “Here is to the good life!” Salute!
