“If the only prayer in your whole life was Thank you, that would suffice.” Meister Eckhardt

If you are able to be present to life without stress, be in gratitude. If you are blessed with the ability to love and be loved, be in gratitude. If you woke this morning kissed by the warmth of the sun welcoming you to live a brand new day, be in gratitude. If you have the good fortune of family and friends who care about you, be in gratitude. And, if you have gained wisdom and strength through surviving life’s challenge, be in gratitude. For all of what happens in life, whether good or bad, has a purpose. See this. For with all of your missteps and accomplishments alike, you are being fortified with the knowledge and compassion that can catapult you to a higher level of consciousness and enlightenment. Embrace this. When you take a moment out of each day to look up to the heavens in gratitude for who you are, where you are, the people in your life, and the journey you get to take, you open up to more possibilities of the same. Know this. There is no better way to center yourself when you feel out of sorts. Start naming, one by one, all the gifts you have been given. It is as simple as that. For if the only prayer in your whole life is thank you and nothing else, rest assured with a grateful heart your petition shall be heard the moment it is uttered. Count your blessings with a resounding thank you, thank you, thank you every day. In return, you will focus your attention on the goodness in life and will assuredly be comforted knowing that the universe has graced you with so many opportunities to be grateful. When you wonder when your next inspiration will come,  say Thank you to the Universe for what you already have, open your hearts and minds and you will find out! Amen.
