S.H.I.N.E. Networking Inc. is a 501(c)(3) that has successfully hosted a South Florida Empowerment Event since 2015. It is an event where dynamic people from all professions gather to network, to share innovative ideas, and connect in a powerful way. Together collaborating our strengths and talents so that we all can be of service to each other and create a ripple effect beyond our wildest imagination. S.H.I.N.E. non profit's proceeds provide scholarships to support young innovative leaders in our community whose ideas are making a difference in our world. Past recipients of the S.H.I.N.E. Ambassador scholarships are: Anna Patricios and Carlos Talavera for The Rainbow Connection, an event that raised funds to support LGBTQ homeless youth in our community. Tim Fath for The Miami Children's Theater- our contribution went towards MCT's scholarship of the arts program-no matter the ability to pay, they do not turn any child away. We also presented our S.H.I.N.E. Good Neighbor Award that recognizes community activism to Vanessa Sanz Acevedo for The Persisters.
